I simply adore this primitive still life French oil painting in a simple wooden frame, it has age, depth, character and all the rustic French country charm in abundance. Titled “La cruche” signed and dated 1970 this is a truly beautiful piece of art, there is slight flaking on the canvas in a couple of areas ( please see all images) which in my opinion just adds to its aged patina.
